There seems to have been a quiet change from sometime this year with how Facebook is pushing unrelated feed content.

Some common things you are now seeing:

• Video game related advertisement and meme channels
• Sports channels like ESPN, etc.
• News stations like CNN, Fox, etc.
• Random influencers that push meme content mostly centered around feminism etc.
• Accounts that are pushing trans-humanism and big-tech.

Prior to this year I was never shown unrelated content on my feed… only stuff related to groups I was apart of.

This seems to be a recent thing as users on Reddit and other websites have noticed this change and voiced frustration. Many users are growing frustrated and leaving the platform entirely.
